  Smallville is an American television series created by writer/producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and was initially broadcast by The WB. After its fifth season, the WB and UPN merged to form The CW, which is the current broadcaster for the show in the United States. Smallville premiered on October 16, 2001, and completed its sixth season on May 17, 2007. An eighth season was officially announced by The CW on March 3, 2008. It is filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The plot follows the adventures of a young Clark Kent's life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman.  
  Season 3, Episode 1: A Tale of Two Cities
  Kate, Sawyer and Jack are now captives of The Others, who induce them into some very dangerous games.
  Season 3, Episode 2: The Glass Ballerina  
Sayid tries to save Kate, Sawyer and Jack from the clutches of The Others. But his attempt goes in vain. It actually puts Sun's and Jin's lives into risk.

  Season 3, Episode 3: Further Instructions  
Locke sees some dreams in which Boone speaks to him. On interpreting those dreams, Locke finds that he has come to a hitherto unknown mystery on their island.
  Season 3, Episode 4: Every Man for Himself  
Sawyer wakes up to find himself being operated upon by The Others. The purpose of this sadistic experiment is to keep Sawyer away from causing more distress to their plans.
  Season 3, Episode 5: The Cost of Living  
Mr. Eko hallucinates about his brother who has died. He goes back to the site where his plane crashed.
  Season 3, Episode 6: I Do  
Kate is trying all she can to stop The Others from killing Sawyer. However, The Others are trying to use Kate to coerce Jack into performing a surgical procedure on Ben.
  Season 3, Episode 7: Not in Portland  
Kate and Sawyer are trying as hard as they can to flee from the island. Jack purposefully messes up Ben's surgery. It is only later that is clarified that Jack only played into the hands of Juliet who was secretly plotting to make him kill Ben.
  Season 3, Episode 8: Flashes before Your Eyes  
Claire is saved from a drowning accident by Desmond. But this sets Hurley and Charlie thinking. They suspect that Desmond is clairvoyant. They invite Desmond for a couple of drinks so that they can find out some things from him.
  Season 3, Episode 9: Stranger in a Strange Land  
Kate, Carl and Sawyer get back to the island, reaching at night. But Kate wants to go back to bring Jack. In the meantime, Jack is being questioned the Isabel, the constable for The Others. She is asking about what transpired between him and Juliet and she asks him about his tattoo. Jack tells about his brief trip to....
  Season 3, Episode 10: Tricia Tanaka is Dead  
Hurley takes Sawyer's assistance in getting that old Volkswagen van that he has seen on the island. Hurley's past life is revealed, up to the point when he boards the ill-fated Oceanic 815 flight.
  Season 3, Episode 11: Enter 77 
Kate, John and Sayid are moving in to help Jack out from the clutches of The Others. On the way they find one more Dharma Station. Sawyer gets all his gear back inside the camp.
  Season 3, Episode 12: Par Avion
  Claire gets a brainwave. She thinks they can safely send messages through the agency of migratory birds. However, Desmond is not allowing these plans to be brought to effect. She is intrigued by this behavior. Somewhere else on the island, Kate, Locke and Sayid inch the outer protective perimeter of The Others and....
  Season 3, Episode 13: The Man from Tallahassee
  Jack reveals to Kate that he is exiting by submarine the next day as per a pact he has made with The Others. However, Locke blows the submarine up before Jack can get on it. Before this dastardly act, he has had a detailed conversation about the various powers that the island holds with Ben.
  Season 3, Episode 14: Exposé
  Two more survivors turn up – Nikki and Paulo. Questions arise in droves as to what these people were doing since the time the plane crashed up to now.
  Season 3, Episode 15: Left Behind
  The Others have to relocate themselves because people have come to know where they reside. They do not want to take Juliet either. They leave her handcuffed with Kate somewhere inside the jungle.
  Season 3, Episode 16: One of Us
  Jack escorts Juliet to the camp since she has nowhere else to do after The Others dumped her. But she finds gaining acceptance at the camp very difficult. Only when she saves Claire from imminent death do the people see her in a better light.
  Season 3, Episode 17: Catch-22
  Desmond foresees that his old flame Penny will crash land upon this island. He gets together some people to accompany him, including Charlie, Hurley and Jin, and goes somewhere into the jungle where he expects her to crash land via parachute. Desmond has also seen something very disturbing in his vision. He....
  Season 3, Episode 18: D.O.C.
  Someone quite unexpected intervenes and provides Desmond with the right kind of help to save the life of the woman who crashed on the island. Juliet and Sun have some meaningful talk. In the end, Juliet helps Sun know when she exactly conceived – before getting into this doomed flight, or on the island itself.
  Season 3, Episode 19: The Brig
  Locke wants Sawyer to go with him for murdering Ben. But the reality is different. Locke actually wants Sawyer to kill his father. This man was also an entity in Sawyer's past days.
  Season 3, Episode 20: The Man behind the Curtain
  Ben takes Jacob and Locke to see for themselves some of the secrets that the island holds. This episode has very significant revelations about Ben. Some secrets on the Dharma Initiative are also exposed.
  Season 3, Episode 21: Greatest Hits
  This time Desmond has a trickier vision. Charlie dies again in his vision, but his death becomes a cause for rescuing Claire. The survivors are quite alarmed too. They are surer than ever that The Others will attack them.
  Season 3, Episode 22: Through the Looking Glass
 

Jack and party are waiting for Charlie to put off the signal jamming device that can warn The Others. What they do not know is that Charlie has been held by them at the Looking Glass station. The Others invade the camp too. They take Sayid, Bernard and Jin in captivity.
